Orientation Programme of 30th NCSC 2023
Today on 17 January the orientation program of 30th National children Science Congress was held in GPM college Bareilly in which the presentation of selected project for National level of two girls Lakshita Pandey and Manu Tomar was given. In the program the chief guest was Education Director of Bly division Mrs. Shashi Sharma to give her best wishes and blessings to the students who are going to Ahmedabad for their presentation. The program was very well conducted in presence of Guest of Honour Dr Ajay Gangwar D.Research Officer health Bly, Dist coordinator Dr. Ravi Sharma, program coordinator Mr. Farhan Ahmed, project guide and teacher Mrs Shweta Mishra. In the program Principal Mrs Rashmi Sardana and Manager Dr. Yogesh Prasad were present to welcome the chief guest and throughout the program to motivate the children.
Sports Day 2 - UMANG Part-2
"The harder the battle, the sweeter the victory." An extremely marvelous sports extravaganza Umang for session 2022-23 day 2 was organized on 12th Nov 22 in which all the students from class 6th to 12th participated with full passion and the air was vibrant with energy and cheers as the audience watched the most awaited athletic events which competitiveness among the students was at its peak. The grand event was inaugurated with the arrival of honourable chief guest Mr. Ankur P Gupta Regional PF Commissioner and alumni of our GPM college along with Dr. Yogesh Prasad and respected Principal Mrs. Rashmi Sardana. The event started with lightning the torch done by honourable chief guest lead by march past of 4 different houses those are the backbone of our college along with graceful presentation of scintillating display of various drills along with the idea of teamwork, resilience perseverance and faith on sportsmanship. The scholars enthusiastically and passionately in the event featuring their victory with different trophies and medals. The ceremony ended with the declaration of results encouraging words from the chief guest and respected principal. It was a very special day for all the students, featuring sportsmanship, unbridled enthusiasm and happy memories to cherish.

Sports Day 1 - UMANG
"Never say never because limits, like fears are often just an illusion." A magnificent sports extravaganza - Umang - Day 1 for the session 2022-23 was organized on 11th Nov 2022 in which all the students from class Nursery to 5th participated with great fervour and manifested their athletic and sportsman spirit with an unimpeachable finesse. The mega event commenced with the arrival of honourable Chief guest Mr. Ramit Sharma IG Bareilly, an alumni of our GPM College along with Dr. Yogesh Prasad, Ms Aparna, Mrs Mala Prasad and respected Principal Mrs.Rashmi Sardana. The event started with releasing of balloons and lighting the torch by honourable chief guest lead by march past of 4 different houses and pillars of our school along with sports oath, welcome dance, various drills represented fours of sports - Speed, Strength, Skill and Spirit. Cute little munchkins enthusiastically and passionately participated in every event with highlighting their victory with gold, silver and bronze medals and stood outstandingly on the quote that "Our will must be stronger than our skills."

Republic day 2022 Celebration
India celebrates Republic Day on January 26 every year. This year, the country will be celebrating its 73rd Republic Day on Wednesday, January 26, 2022. The Constitution of India was adopted in 1950 on this day after attaining Independence on 15 August 1947.
Today is the day to reaffirm our commitment to unity in diversity, fraternity and equality among all our citizens.
Surya Namaskar Practice Under Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav 2022
Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India had organised virtual mass practice of Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutation ) to celebrate 75 years of Independence under the event Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav on 14th January, 2022 (Makar Sankranti), where 75lakh sadhaks all over world had performed Surya Namaskar through Yoga Certification Board (YCB).
Our enthusiasts Yoga practitioners of GPM college also participated and showcased a very spirited performance!.The boundless peace was amply visible from the faces of the students.
TEACHER'S DAY CELEBRATION 2021
Teachers Day is celebrated to give tribute and honour to the teachers for their dedicated hardwork and selfless motive in shaping their children's future.
On this auspicious day, students of GPM College have given recognition and respect to their teachers as they truly deserve it.

Class 3-5: Hindi Poem Recitation on Kargil Vijay Diwas-
Kargil Vijay Diwas is celebrated on July 26 every year to commemorate the supreme sacrifices made by the Indian soldiers during the 1999 Kargil War with Pakistan. 22 years ago on this day, the brave hearts of the Indian Army, aided by the Indian Air Force, had given a crushing defeat to Pakistan in Kargil. To honour the soldiers of the Indian army, a virtual Hindi recitation competition was organised for the students of classes 3 to 5.
Class 6-8 :Poster Making Competition On Tiger Day-
29th July is celebrated as the Global Tiger Day every year. The day is observed to mark the declining population of tigers across the globe.
An interesting competition was organised for the students of classes 6-8 where they were asked to depict their views on the same and children poured their feelings in the posters.
Class 9-12: Hindi Skit on Any Social Cause-
In this activity, students of classes 9-12 were asked to write a 3-minute play based on their confrontation with the daily challenges of growing up. This series of monologues and meetings helped them in becoming aware about the social issues.

Class 6-8: Craft competition on Paper Bag Day
Paper Bag Day is observed every year on July 12. A competition was organised to spread awareness about using paper bags instead of plastic. It helped the students to know the adverse impacts of plastic bags on the environment.

Competitions Held on 28 April 2021
Class 3-5 : Trees: Lungs Of The Earth Competition-
A poster making activity was organized to bring out the creativity of the children wherein they got a chance to portray the theme by using organic material. The participants did a splendid job by efficiently reflecting the theme by making wonderful posters by utilizing the organic material in the best possible way.
Class 6-8: Self-made Oath/Pledge Competition-
This interesting competition was organized to bring out the creative side of the children. It helped them reflect upon what they can do to restore the Earth and helped them express the same in form of an oath. The participants did a wonderful job composing and delivering the pledge.
Class 9, 10, 12: Interview Session Competition
In this activity, the students were asked to interview Mother Earth and highlight on the emotional state of the planet. This required a lot of thinking and planning. The students were very creative with costumes, dialogues and delivery. Overall, this activity was successful in helping the viewers sympathize with the planet and reflect upon the actions of man.

Class 3-5 : Story Telling Competition-
This activity gave students an opportunity to enhance their elocution and gain confidence while conveying their thoughts and moral values through stories. The students did a remarkable job by using appropriate expressions, modulating their voice as and when required.
Class 6-8: Self Composed Poem Competition-
This competition brought out the creativity of the students and enabled them to show their power with words. The participants proved themselves by touching upon various themes and weaving/ composing meaningful poems.
Class 9, 10, 12: Mimicry Competition-
This activity helped the participants explore their talent of mimicking any actor/ actress and entertain the viewers. The participants did a wonderful job with their attitude, body language and voice modulation. It was not only entertaining but also quite interesting to watch the students playing a different role.

COVID PRECAUTIONS 2021
The coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic is the defining global health crisis of our time and the greatest challenge we have faced since World War Two. Standard recommendations to prevent infection spread include regular hand washing, covering mouth and nose when coughing and sneezing, thoroughly cooking meat and eggs. Avoid close contact with anyone showing symptoms of respiratory illness such as coughing and sneezing.

Republic Day is celebrated on January 26 every year to remember the day when the Constitution of India came into effect. India was ruled by the British for over 200 years. India gained independence from the rule of the British Raj after a very long freedom struggle. Though India got its independence on August 14th, 1947, the constitution came into effect on January 26th, 1950.
This year India will be celebrating its 72nd Republic Day on January 26th. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we celebrated this day virtually.
