Raksha Bandhan or Rakhi is a special occasion to celebrate the virtuous bond of love between a brother and a sister. To commemorate this festival, a Rakhi Making Activity was organized for the
students of Class III on 17th August. Students made beautiful Eco-Friendly Rakhis using different pulses. Their artisanship was quite fascinating and children thoroughly enjoyed this activity that tickled their creative side.

Independence Day Celebration 2024
GPM School celebrated India's 78th Independence Day with great fervor and patriotism. The ceremony began with the hoisting of the national flag by Manager Mr. Yogesh Prasad, in the presence of Principal Mrs. Seema Kapoor, teachers, and students.
The school courtyard was filled with excitement as the students presented a series of drills, showcasing their discipline and teamwork. The highlight of the event was a thought-provoking skit performed by the students, depicting the struggle for independence and the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters.

GPM College hosted a prestigious Investiture Ceremony on 31 July 2024. The ceremony was graced by the presence of esteemed Chief Guest, Mr. Suvrat Prasad.
Principal Mrs. Seema Kapoor bestowed badges and sashes upon the newly elected student council members, entrusting them with responsibilities and encouraging them to lead with integrity and dedication.

A special Assembly was passionately and enthusiastically conducted by students of class 6-C on different theme such as Believing in oneself, success, few days and their importance were presented like National Exercise day, World book day. Thumb Printing Activity 2024
CLASS I C ACTIVITY - A "Thumb Printing Activity" was conducted for Class 1 students on their very first day of school.
This activity is a wonderful sensory experience for children. It strengthens their hand and finger muscles. Children enjoyed this messy play with their thumb and made impression on the branches of tree.
Welcome Assembly for Session 2024-25
A special assembly to welcome students to the next session was held on 21 March 2024. The assembly began with the school choir brightening the whole atmosphere with their mellifluous songs. This was followed by Thought for the day and News. The assembly concluded with a mesmerizing dance
performance by children.
The assembly concluded with our Principal Mrs. Seema Kapoor addressed the children, congratulated the children and explained the relevance and importance of education and motivated the children for the beginning of the new session.
Kindergarten Convocation Ceremony 2024
Girish Prasad Memorial College, Bareilly celebrated Kindergarten Graduation Day on 14 March, 2024. Tiny tots dressed up with nice attires and performed different activities like music and dance, which was appreciated by all gathered. The programme began with welcome dance. Class teachers of Kindergarten Mrs. Shazia Khan, Mrs. Shailly Pathak and Mrs. Sakshi Singh welcomed the gathering and congratulate the little tiny-tots on their big day. The smart tiny tots of pre primary dressed in graduation robes and caps walking the stage. Our Principal Mrs. Seema Kapoor, felicitated the students with Certificate of Graduation. Children looked pretty in their graduation robes and caps. The Principal, in her convocation address, complimented the graduates on their achievements, also congratulated the teachers for their dedication and hard work in shaping the students through education and other co-curricular activities. It was indeed a joyous and memorable day to the little ones as they received their KG Graduation Day Diploma’s. May God bless these tiny “graduates” as they continue their education in the main stream of the school.

In the vibrant school assembly led by Class V-C, Basant Panchami was celebrated with fervor. The event commenced with the soulful rendition of Saraswati Vandana, invoking the blessings of the goddess of knowledge Following this, the respected Principal Ma'am and Mona Ma'am addressed the students, imparting valuable insights about the festival and the pursuit of knowledge. As the melodic prayers echoed through the ground, students showcased their artistic flair with graceful dance, adding a colorful touch to the celebration.

"Celebrate endings - for they precede new beginnings". Farewell 2024, themed Bon Voyage was inaugurated by Honourable Principal, Mrs. Seema Kapoor, class XII teachers, head boy and head girl with the auspicious lamp lighting ceremony. Thereupon, class XI bid farewell to the students through a vibrant tapestry woven with skit, music, dances and games. Boys and girls set the stage on fire with rolling, twisting and rhythmic dances. Laughter echoed through the auditorium as the students encapsulated the audience with their performance in a hilarious skit. Interactive games involving both students and teachers added a sense of cooperation and unity. Honourable Principal maam with her motivational words infused great amount of zeal among the students and wished them bon voyage filled with hope, positivity and good memories.
REPUBLIC DAY 2024
India celebrated its 75th Republic Day on 26th January 2024. The day is a celebration of the Constitution, and building India as a republic instead of a colony or dominion of any nation. Celebrations of Republic Day are marked with much enthusiasm in our college. On this day, the Principal Mrs. Seema Kapoor unfurls the national flag followed by spectacular cultural programmes.

Subjective Activity- MY NEIGHBOURHOOD MAP. Spatial thinking allows students to comprehend and analyze phenomena related to the places around them. An activity called My Neighbourhood Map was conducted for the students of ?????????? ????. The main aim of the activity was to let our young learners explore more about their neighbourhood. In this activity, students learned about the nearby facilities available and the ways of availing them. It was an informative and interesting activity that children thoroughly enjoyed.

October 2, is a day of immense significance in India, commemorating the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri. The celebration commenced with homage paying ceremony by our honorable Principal Mrs. Seema Kapoor, who further inspired students to inculcate a sense of empathy, responsibility and to follow the path of these great leaders leading towards peace and righteousness. "Recycling things is like magic that turns ordinary things into extraordinary."
The three 'Rs' stand for: Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. They are a part of the waste hierarchy which is used to protect the environment and conserve resources through a priority approach. The aim is to get maximum practical benefits from products and to generate the minimum amount of waste. The students of class V made beautiful DIYs by using waste material. The 15th of August, 1947 marked the end of British colonialism and the dawn of the democratic republic. On this occasion there was a celebration at GPM College in the presence of Dr. Yogesh Prasad, the manager and Ms. Aparna Sharma, CEO. GPM College celebrated its 50th Founder's Day on 6th July 2023 to commemorate its legacy and success with enthusiasm.
We are indebted to Mrs Draupadi Devi, a freedom fighter, Mr Raghuveer Prasad and Mr Girish Prasad who had the vision to the creation of the school back in 1973.

SUMMER CAMP 2023
Summer camp is not only a place to have fun but also a great place to learn new things. Our school organised a Summer Camp which started from 16th May and culminated on 23rd May. This Summer Camp aimed at keeping the students engaged & provided them an even platform to explore and express their creativity, in any form. Various activities were planned for the students. They not only made memories while having fun but they were able to try new things, pushed their boundaries and realized self-sufficiency. They were able to make new friends amidst lot of laughs & learnt team spirit. The theme of the occasion was "Ma Tujhe Salaam". Enthusiastic children made beautiful bouquets to reciprocate their mothers unconditional love.

Life doesn’t come with a manual. It comes with a mother. On the special occasion of Mothers Day, an inter-house Photo Frame Making Competition on the theme “Maa Tujhe Salaam” was organised for Classes VI to VIII. All the participants made amazing photo frames expressing their affection,care and respect for their mothers. They used their creativity,imagination and enthusiasm to create praise worthy photo frames.
Students were seen enjoying this competition as they recollected their precious memories with their mothers.
CLASS III TO V - CARD MAKING COMPETITION 2023
“A mother is she who can take the place of all others but whose place no one else can take.” An inter house Card Making competition themed "Maa Tujhe Salam" was organised on 04-05-2023 for classes 3-5. To show the love and respect for mothers, the young, enthusiastic students participated in this competition. The students were well involved in the competition . All the students came up with their artistic skills. The cards they made showed their love and gratitude towards their mothers.
ASSEMBLY BY CLASS IX B
Students of class IX B conducted the special assembly on the topic "Fortune favours the brave" giving examples of some of the very successful people of India who with their exceptionally high will power and hard work became iconic.
Second day they have hindi assembly celebrating the national heritage. Third day the students shared their thought on the topic "Good days ahead" and on 20th the festival of Eid ul fitar was celebrated.

In celebration of Earth Day ,an inter-house group dance competition was organised on 28th April 2023.The students from classes 9 to12 exhibited their concern for the planet through this competition. Titled "Agony of Earth", the theme highlighted the pain and suffering that our planet endures due to human activities such as deforestation, pollution and over consumption. The students put on an incredible performance, charged with emotions. The competition proved to be a powerful platform for raising awareness and fostering an appreciation for Earth's beauty and fragility.

Our little munchkins earnestly participated in this competition. The competition turned out to be an enjoyable craft for children. It gave a boost to children’s creativity and thinking skills. Reuse your today so that you do not have to reduce your tomorrow. Our Tiny Tots from Kinder Garten indulge in an Eco-Competition where the students made exquisite lanterns using recycled materials. They also planted saplings in the school garden learning about the worth of trees and educating them to be environment friendly.As part of the Green Color recognition activity, they identified and sorted various green objects, reinforcing their understanding of colors and nature.

Summers are here! Yay! Lets eat some juicy watermelon slices together. Nursery Class observed Watermelon Day on 20th April 2023 where the students were acquainted with the fruit. All the students were dressed Red in accordance with the theme. The concept of Water content along with the benefits of its consumption during summers were also elucidated to them. Paper Craft activity was executed by the little munchkins where they enjoyed putting Bindi in place of seeds in order to depict seeds. A special Assembly was passionately and enthusiastically conducted by students of class 9 A on the theme " Nutrition for all together towards a healthy India" and "International Year of millets" The whole week was dedicated to the theme. The highlight of the Assembly was to aprise students to critically analyse the regular consumption of junk food which may be tasty and replaces regular nutritious meals on a daily basis and results in the micronutrient efficiency.
This was depicted by students via a special pledge, speech, conversation ,Nukkad Natak, story and mine. The motto of the Assembly was "Let's eat a balance nutritional diet regularly , be healthy and save food from wastage.
The Assembly was altogether a pragamatic solution for ways to tackle nutritional deficiency in day to day life.

A poster- making competition was organised in our school on 13 April 23 to spread awarness about the importance of nutrition and health under the Poshan Abhiyaan Campaign. Students of class 9 to 12 participated in the competition and showcased their creativity by making eye- catching posters. Through the posters, the message of Poshan Abhiyaan was effectively conveyed, highlighting the importance of good nutrition for better health. The event was a success in creating awarness and promoting the need for a healthy lifestyle.

CLASS KG TO II WELCOME BACK TO SCHOOL
To enliven up our preschoolers back to phrontistery after session break and to fabricate a hospitable ambience,a salutation event was organized by Teachers of Primary Section for the tiny tots from Nursery to Class II on 5th April 2023.
The exuberant reception day for this academic year started. Our youngsters were impeccable and the teachers greeted the students by manifesting the indication on the door way and performing a hi-fi or a smile which would make them put foot in the classroom with endearment and solicitude.

You are loved, You are indispensable, You care. On 5th of April 2023, Orientation Programme was Conducted for the Parents of the Nursery Class. Teachers Enrichment Workshop 2023
The two-days teachers enrichment workshop was organised on 24th and 25th March,2023. The aim of the workshop was to apprise the teachers with the objectives of Foundational Literacy And Numeracy(FLN). Power Point Presentations were given by the teachers not only on various subjects manifesting the important points of FLN but also on many upgraded teaching methods.
Effective teaching techniques were shared by the teachers which would definitely help in the desired learning.
The Principal Mrs Rashmi Sardana guided the teachers through out the workshop with a motive of improving them and ensured to refurbish their teaching skills.
Kindergarten Convocation Ceremony 2023
The 150 young kids unleashed their talents in front of their teachers and parents during the "Kindergarten Graduation Day" which was held on 16th March 2023. The celebration began with the lamp lighting ceremony. Tiny tots clad in their "Graduation robes & caps" really made this the most memorable day. They were all beaming with joy and pride amidst their teachers and parents. "Dance is an expression of laughter, sorrow, joy, happiness, hopes and fears". The talented kids performed on numerous dances showing dissimilar refinement and persuasion. Ramp show done by our confident models exhibited to promenade on the virtuous path. Also skit on "Unity in diversity" has manifested the uniformity amidst the disparate heritage. The formal programme was concluded by Principal Mrs Rashmi Sardana congratulating the little ones on becoming graduates and wished them the luck and happiness for exploring a new world altogether. She thanked teachers not only for mentoring but also for instilling values in them. Lastly, she applauded the unconditional support and co-operation of parents.

Remarkable moments for GPM COLLEGE-Lakshita Pandey of class XI A has presented her project in Ahemdabad as an active participant of Uttar Pradesh. She added the glory to our state by presenting the cultural dance with her team. The government has organised the complete visit (including all worth seeing places of Gujrat) and stay for her. She got a chance to meet with various talented students of all states who were addressed by Prime minister(online). We embark upon a journey with a destination in mind, so we have to take different routes in life. The apprentice enthusiastically and passionately gave fabulous performances and made the day more reminisscenes by creating memories because it last forever in life. An Inter house tableau competition was organized on 24th Jan 2023 for the students of class 6 to 11 based on the theme" India - the land of Origin." The students enthusiastically and devotedly represented all the 4 regions East, West, North and south and stood with the message of " patriotism for India is not short, Frenzied outbursts of emotions, but the tranquil and steady dedication of lifetime."

Today on 17 January the orientation program of 30th National children Science Congress was held in GPM college Bareilly in which the presentation of selected project for National level of two girls Lakshita Pandey and Manu Tomar was given.
In the program the chief guest was Education Director of Bly division Mrs. Shashi Sharma to give her best wishes and blessings to the students who are going to Ahmedabad for their presentation.
The program was very well conducted in presence of Guest of Honour Dr Ajay Gangwar D.Research Officer health Bly, Dist coordinator Dr. Ravi Sharma, program coordinator Mr. Farhan Ahmed, project guide and teacher Mrs Shweta Mishra.
In the program Principal Mrs Rashmi Sardana and Manager Dr. Yogesh Prasad were present to welcome the chief guest and throughout the program to motivate the children.
Christmas Day Celebration 2022
"Join us and be jolly Bring out the christmas holly, Its that time of the year, To spread christmas cheer." To celebrate the most auspicious instance of a Charlie Browny Christmas, the little cherubs heartfully made the day memorable with various performances by singing christmas carols, drama, dance, art with craft and oodles of cheer. There was even a surprise entry by Santa, as he danced with the munchkins and gave different presents from his secret Santa bag which is always full of Goodies. The eyes of the little scholars sparkled with the shine of love, joy and gifts of time which are the ingredients of a truly Merry Christmas.

SUPW is an integral part of the curriculum of class-X. It consists of a project submitted by the students with a craft activity. The topics of the craft activity for session 2022-23 were "Best out of waste", pot decoration and embroidery.

An extremely marvelous sports extravaganza Umang for session 2022-23 day 2 was organized on 12th Nov 22 in which all the students from class 6th to 12th participated with full passion and the air was vibrant with energy and cheers as the audience watched the most awaited athletic events which competitiveness among the students was at its peak. The grand event was inaugurated with the arrival of honourable chief guest Mr. Ankur P Gupta Regional PF Commissioner and alumni of our GPM college along with Dr. Yogesh Prasad and respected Principal Mrs. Rashmi Sardana. The event started with lightning the torch done by honourable chief guest lead by march past of 4 different houses those are the backbone of our college along with graceful presentation of scintillating display of various drills along with the idea of teamwork, resilience perseverance and faith on sportsmanship. The ceremony ended with the declaration of results encouraging words from the chief guest and respected principal. The mega event commenced with the arrival of honourable Chief guest Mr. Ramit Sharma IG Bareilly, an alumni of our GPM College along with Dr. Yogesh Prasad, Ms Aparna, Mrs Mala Prasad and respected Principal Mrs.Rashmi Sardana. Today on 29 oct 2022, we enjoyed the special assembly by NUTRIFIT CLUB in our school. Students took the special oath of minimising the junk food. Special thought was presented by Kashif XI A. Yogas and aerobics were displayed by the students of class VI to VIII. A healthy instant meal making was presented by Siddhi Rana VIII A. Some interesting facts were presented by Ms. Harsimranjeet Kaur (teacher).
Swachhta Pakhwada - Day 7
"Cleanliness may be defined to be the emblem of purity of mind." The Swachhta Pakhwada was organized in GPM College where students believe "Whether the sun shines or storm comes, or it rains, cleaning India should be our only aim", enthusiastically participated in the various activites and expressed to be aware of cleanliness. Students were awarded for their tremendous performance in various activities.
Diya Making Competition 2022
"A festival full of nostalgic memories, sky full of fireworks, mouth full of sweets, house full of diyas and heart full of joy." The children of class 3 to 5 fervidly participated in the Diya Decoration Competition held on 20th Oct. That symbolises enlightenment, prosperity, knowledge and wisdom. Through their creativity and different designs they gave the notation of triumph of light over dark, good over evil with the most notable happiness over darkness.
Paper Lamp (Kandeel) Making Competition 2022
"When stars met lanterns, the stars said, What is the wish
I am ready to fall." The novitiate students of class 6 to 8 participated in the lanterns making Competition. They expressed their feelings of joy through assembling the different designs and gesture of colours by making sky lanterns which are a part of wishes send to the sky, conveyed the message of let all our worries fly away like the beautiful sky lanterns, in the darker sky to make the night shine with the lamp of hopes.
Rangoli Making Competition 2022
Like rangoli the life turned out to be the form a simple dot , to an admirable art." Students of class 9 to 12 participated in the Rangoli Making Competition organised on 20th Oct. Students attracted everyones eye by splashing different colours of glem, happiness, wisdom, prosperity by choosing the glitters wisely as rangoli speaks in colours. And showed that rangoli colours have the power which directly influences the soul.

"A girl child is a pride and the future of the nation. Empowering our girl child means empowering our future". To celebrate the International Girl Child Day the students zealously and enthusiastically expressed their feelings through a beautiful skit in dance form showing the strength, courage, hardwork, sacrifice, determination and commitment towards their responsibilities Based on the theme "Our time is now - our rights ,our future". They even showed that in todays time girls present in every field are shining like the bright stars in the sky and stood on a very famous quote of Malala Yousafzai that "I want every girl to know that her voice can change the world".
Fit India Quiz 2022
Sports are the essence of life which not only build character but also serve as great teachers and motivators. Sports teaches us the way of living, to work hard, a thirst to win, blood and sweat to reach the success, teamwork and moreover to be a great leader to lead your life. Today Fit India Quiz was organised in school with the aim to provide platform for students to showcase their knowledge about fitness and sport.

Gandhi Jayanti Celebrations 2022
Gandhi Jayanti and Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti is celebrated on 2nd October every year to mark the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi (Father of the Nation) and Lal Bahadur Shastri who served as the second Prime Minister of India.
Students of Class NC - II performed on numerous pursuit namely Dance, Ceremonial Speaking on Mantra's of Mahatma Gandhi, Action Song & Choir.

Students were informed that because of their contribution to the nation we celebrate their Jayanti and this day is also celebrated as the International Day of non-violence by the United Nations .
Hindi Saptah 2022
Hindi Saptah - "A nation is incomplete without its national language." Hindi Diwas is celebrated on 14th September every year to instill pride for our mother tongue Hindi which is the soul of our nation and identity of its citizens. Students with great pride and vigor took part in special assembly held for the week as Hindi Saptah. Speech was given by XII class student acknowledging the significance of the language. Followed by Kavi Sammelan reiterating the legendary hindi poets works like Subhadra Kumari Chauhan, Maithili Sharan Gupt.
Thereafter, students enthralled the audience with their hilarious conversation giving the message of the benefits of Hindi language over English language. Students mesmerized the audience with their melodious song of Shri Jai Shankar Prasad, "Geet Arun Yeh Madhu May Desh Hamara". To commemorate the birth anniversary of Shri Bhartendu Harish Chandra, a student performed an engrossing dance to instill a patriotic fervour amongst students. Thus Hindi Diwas Celebration was concluded on a positive note to mark its importance as it not only influence other languages, but also help Indian citizens to created pidgin to communicate better.

Teachers Day Celebration 2022
Student Council organized a great show on 5th September to honour teachers on the occasion of birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan.
The program started with auspicious lamp lighting and guru vandana.

Assembly on National Sports Day
GPM College celebrated National Sports Day on 29th August to commemorate the birth anniversary of hockey legend, Major Dhyan Chand. The day was dedicated to the nations sports heroes. With the aim to raise awareness about the values of sports: discipline, perseverance, sportsman spirit, teamwork, the students of class IX A, during assembly, wonderfully depicted the sports of olden times and how they have been replaced with the modern day sports. During the day, the various sports like volleyball, tug of war,relay race,badminton and table tennis were organised to emphasize on the importance of being fit and healthy and to make sports an integral part of our lives.

Investiture Ceremony 2022

The Investiture Ceremony for the Academic Session 2022- 2023 started with lamp lighting ceremony by honourable Chief guest Dr. Yogesh Prasad and Respected Principal Mrs. Rashmi Sardana. The ceremony held with great pomp and dignity of donning the mantle of accountability. The elected leaders were conferred with badges and sashes by honourable Chief guest Dr.Yogesh Prasad, Respected Principal Ma'am Mrs.Rashmi Sardana and teachers of respective houses. The Council members took the pledge to hold the school motto of live, learn and lead in high esteem. Chief guest Dr. Yogesh Prasad and the Principal Mrs. Rashmi Sardana congratulated them and guided them to be impartial and honest with their responsibilities . They also exhorted them to uplift the Integrity, Insight and Inclusiveness of a leader to uphold their duties.The ceremony concluded with the National Anthem.
Inter-School Painting Competition

An inter-school Painting competition was organised to promote Patriotism and Indian Culture in support of Har Ghar Tiranga on 15th August on the occasion of Independence Day. It is a proud moment for G.P.M. College as one of the student Shreya Gupta of Class VIII-B secured third position in the competition. She promoted Art and culture beautifully with her drawing. We wish her good luck for her future endeavours.

Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated with joy and enthusiasm to mark the birth of Lord Krishna. On this occasion, students were dressed as Radha and Krishna,danced to the beats of Krishna songs and filled the air with festive spirit.
Interschool Badminton Tournament 2022
"Everyone has the fire, but the champions know when to ignite the spark." An Interschool Badminton tournament was held in Qayamganj Farukhabad. Organized by CICSE Council on 16th and 17th August 2022.It was a proud moment for GPM college to have secured the first position under 19 boys and under 17 boys. GPM College was also the runner up under 17 girls. The boys team are now going to represent the school in the Zonal Competition. We congratulate the winners and wish them all the best for the future challenge.
Independence Day Celebration 2022
"Patriotism is not short,
Frenzied outbursts of emotions,
But the tranquil and steady dedication Of lifetime." To celebrate the most auspicious occasion of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav on 75th Independence day of our mother country, the programme started with flag hosting done by Honourable Chief Guest Captain Ashok Bhatnagar, Dr Yogesh Prasad and the Principal Mrs. Rashmi Sardana. The golden young agers and juvenile passionately participated in the occasion by expressing their love and pride as becoming freedom fighters with great joy. They sung patriotic songs in qawwali notion. The sparkling divine made everyone astonish with their sentiment, passion, expression and feelings through folk dance and gave the message of har ghar tiranga lehrayega. Speeches delivered by the honourable Chief Guest, Dr. Yogesh Prasad and the Principal guided the students towards the path of Freedom and pride for our mother country. Everyone stood together with the vision of "The legacy of great heroes - The memories of great name and the inheritance of great examples".

Rainy Day 2022
Rainy Day is always a fun time for the kids especially if it is celebrated in the school. Today on 5th of August 2022, We...the kindergarten wing celebrated "A RAINY DAY." Children were asked to bring raincoats, umbrella and special snacks like fritters in their lunch box. Along with that they also enjoyed singing and dancing in the multimedia room. Children were thrilled with the rainy day theme. Here is the brief glimpse of the joy our children had.
Folk Dance Competition 2022
A folk dance is a form of dance that reflects the life of the people of our mother country. Everything in the universe has rhythm and folk dance has a rhythm of soul which have the heart of people connected to their religion and transmitted from generation to generation with increasing secularization and equality among everyone and binding everyone together with peace and harmony. An Inter house folk dance was organized for class 9 to 12. Dance before the music is over, Live before your life is over. The student zealously and fanatically participated in this competition. As they got the privilege to convey their love and pride for the country through the folk dance of our different states and proving unity in diversity.

The little ones enacted as great freedom fighters with great joy and fondness for their mother country and made everyone astonish with their ideas of sentiment, passion and expression with making the day a momentous one with the idea and feeling of patriotism. As Patriotism is a feeling of loyalty and allegiance.

The Inter house descriptive drawing competition was organized for the classes 6 to 8. "A sculpture is just a drawing we fall over in the dark". The student's enthusiastically participated in the competition. As they got the privilege to convey their impression on their beautiful imagination and feelings for rain. Because sweet memories are timeless treasures of the heart and life is the art of drawing without an eraser. Rain heels our soul and makes us feel alive.
Poem Recitation Competition 2022
An inter house Poem Recitation Competition was organized for Classes 3 to 5. "Rain kissed the flower, And the petals embraced the rain drops." Our shining little munchkins passionately participated in the poem recitation competition in the mostly loving and beautiful feeling and imagination on rain. As the drops of rain make a hole in the stone, not by violence but by soft falling. Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words. Poem and poetry helps us deliver our ideas through beauty of expression, emotion, rhyme, music of words etc.

GPM College, Bareilly , celebrated its 49th Founders' Day with great enthusiasm on 6th July 2022. This day was dedicated to the everlasting memory of Mrs. Draupadi Devi, a freedom fighter and Mr. Raghuveer Prasad, a retired customs collective, in the memory of Shri Girish Prasad, the youngest son of Mrs. Draupadi Devi.
The Principal, Mrs. Rashmi Sardana offered tribute to the honourable founders of the prestigious college.
Followed by speech given by a senior teacher informing the children about how the school that started from a tiny seed turned into a giant tree with its deeper and stronger roots.
The school believes that education is a means of achieving a world of peace , justice, freedom and equality for all.
It plays an important role in moulding a nation's future by facilitating all round development of its future citizens.

Summer camp plays a pivotal role in the overall growth and development of the students. It helps to improve the overall personality of children and to make them competitive by developing skill sets...
keeping in mind G.P.M. College, Bareilly has conceptualized a unique 9-day programme to provide its children with an opportunity to engage in a variety of modules. Summer camp began with traditional lamp lighting ceremony done by Principal Mrs. Rashmi Sardana.
The Summer camp offered lots of fun activities including Art, Paint and Craft to develop imaginative skills. The classes of Taekwaondo, Aerobics and Zumba helped children to learn coordinated moves and provided physical and mental development. The little hands displayed the creativity and culinary talent in 'Cooking without fire' activity. Summer camp without sports is incomplete. Children zealously participated in Volleyball, Cricket and Badminton with a sense of sportsmanship and team spirit.
Summer camp ended with the wonderful presentation given by all the participants. The children enthusiastically showcased their love for the skills.

"Music is the literature of heart, it commences where speech ends"
The assembly was conducted by Dhwani Club members on May 07, 2022, the birth date of a great Indian poet Rabindra Nath Tagore. Morning assembly was started performing a Saraswati Vandana by Nishat Ansari of VI-C followed by a speech of Mr. Sanjai Saxena Sir and a school band karaoke performance. Small quiz was held remembering the names of Lata Mangeshkar, A.R. Rehman, Pt. Birju Maharj, Zakhir Hussain and Hariprasad Chaurasia.
Great Heroes
“Not the glittering weapon fights the fight, but rather the hero’s heart....”The Assembly conducted by class X-B on 21 April 2022 was “Great Heroes”.The effect was to recognize the “Great Heroes” of new India, the ones who have made maximum contribution and impact in the present times. The purpose of recreating their stories was to serve as a source of inspiration and encouragement for the children. The Heroes chosen were Group Captain Abhinandan, Flight Purser Neerja Bhanot, Captain Vikram Bhatra and Actor Sonu Sood.
World Heritage Day
"People without the knowledge of their past origin and culture, is like a tree with no roots..."World Heritage Day is celebrated every year on 16 April. On this occasion students performed a skit explaining the importance and value of our heritage and not to harm historical monuments.
Baisakhi & Ambedkar Jayanti celebration
Cultivation of mind should be the ultimate aim of human existence..”- Dr. B. R. AmbedkarOn the occasion of Vaisakhi, celebrated on the beginning of new spring year and Ambedkar Jayanti, celebrated each year on 14 April, students performed a dance,thanking farmers for the bountiful harvest.It was followed by a speech on the life of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar, greatest exemplar of the belief that education enables a man to overcome all the obstacles in life, be they social, cultural or economic in nature.

World Health Day
“To keep the body in good health is a duty…otherwise we shall not be able to keep the mind strong and clear.”World Health Day is celebrated on Tuesday, 7 April 2022.Going the healthy way, students displayed colorful charts of essential nutrients to motivate children to follow a healthy diet for a healthy life. Followed by rhythmic dance of Class XII student to show a way to stay fit and fine.
Welcome Assembly
"A new session means fresh textbooks, new teachers, new learning goals and sometimes even new friends..."With this thought in mind, the students of class XII conducted the morning assembly on the commencement of new session on Wednesday, 6th April 2022.Honourable Principal, Mrs. Rashmi Sardana addressed the students and welcomed them with words of wisdom and motivation. Her words infused great amount of zeal amongst the students and teachers to unveil the beginning of the new session.Followed by the melodious welcome song "With a smile on our face.... " that made the gathering feel special and elated."After the news and thought of the day" , our National Anthem was sung rejuvenating the students with deeper enlightenment of oneness.
The Orientation Programme
"Parents give birthThe Guru gives life".These two powers are the one who steer the life of students.The Orientation Programme was organized for the parents on 4th and 5th April by the Honourable Principal Mrs.Rashmi Sardana and the respective class teachers from Nursery to class 12th. The program commenced with lighting of lamp by the Principal followed by extending a warm welcome to the parents.The teachers enthusiastically and passionately briefed parents about the rules and regulations which need to be adhered for maintaining high discipline standards in the school and about the activities,co- curricular activities which have been planned for the session 2022-23.Many of the fears and concerns of the parents were addressed at the end of the programme during the question- answer session.The orientation programme proved to be a concerted effort made by the school in educating the parents to look after and guide their children in a manner which makes them the pride of their families and the school.
